Chicago to Dallas Road Trip by Van: The Ultimate Group Travel Guide

Chicago to Dallas is a great long-haul group road trip — big skies, easy interstate miles, and a lively city at the end. A rented van keeps everyone together for the journey. Here’s why it’s the way to go.

Everyone together for the miles

It’s a long drive south, and one van keeps the whole group in one place — the conversations, the stops, the shared adventure — instead of a scattered convoy or a group of pricey flights.

Comfort for the long haul

Comfort matters on a big drive. Our Mercedes-Benz Sprinters add reclining seats, entertainment, and a smooth, quiet ride, while a Ford Transit keeps the trip budget-friendly. two additional drivers are free (three drivers in total) to share the wheel.

Dallas awaits

Texas’s third-largest city delivers museums, sports, great food, and Southern hospitality — a fun destination worth the miles for any group.

Plan a smooth trip

Map your route and stops, pack for the road, and split the cost across the group to keep it affordable — one rental, one fuel bill, shared by everyone.

Go anywhere

Because we’re Illinois-based, you can drive our vans anywhere across the USA and into Canada, with just a regular license for personal use.
